This mix is composed of seven specifically chosen compounds that are resolved well and provide a good representative span of the chromatographic range. This mix is not only valuable to use as a validation standard for initial method transfer, it also provides the additional benefit of establishing a baseline chromatogram for the system. Therefore, it is recommended to run this mix on a regular basis after the initial method setup to continually check and compare the original benchmark chromatogram for system performance.
