The Quality Control (QC) Reference Material portfolio is a unique collection of standards and mixtures. These products allow the user to evaluate and benchmark their LC and LC-MS chromatography system before analysis of critical analytes. The products in the portfolio are all specially formulated based on the expertise of Waters scientist. Waters recommends to benchmark a chromatographic system with a QC Reference Material prior to system usage when there is confidence that the system is in good working order. It is recommended to run and save the initial results and to continue to compare the QC Reference Material results to the previous benchmark before any critical assay is run, and after any hardware, column or mobile-phase changes.
AutoPurification System Standard [716000765]
The AutoPurification System Standard allows the user to evaluate and benchmark the performance of an AutoPurification/Preparative System through fraction collection before analysis of critical material. This Quality Control Reference Material is specially formulated to allow the user to verify correct fraction collection. The test is highly valuable when performed at first use/installation, and any time the system has not been used or has had any changes.

HILIC QC Reference Material [186007226]
The HILIC QC Reference Material is designed for use with UV and MS chromatographic systems using a HILIC column. It is intended to be used as a system benchmarking standard. When used consistently and control charted, the QC Reference Material will provide - confidence in your results - reduce troubleshooting and re-run time - enable cross lab result comparisons It is adaptable to a wide variety of separation methods.

LCMS QC Reference Standard [186006963]
The LCMS QC Reference Standard is designed for use with high performance MS's like Synapt G2-S, Xevo G-S QTof. It is intended to be used as a system benchmarking standard. When used consistently and control charted, the QCRM will provide - confidence in your results - reduce troubleshooting and re-run time - enable cross lab result comparisons The mix is extremely versatile and appropriate for a vast variety of column chemistries and dimensions. It is adaptable to a wide variety of separation methods.

Neutrals QC Reference Material [186006360]
The Neutrals QC Reference Material is designed for use with any chromatographic systems containing a UV detector. It is intended to be used as a system benchmarking standard. The mix contains only neutral compounds. When used consistently and control charted, the QC Reference Material will provide confidence in your results, reduce troubleshooting and re-run time, and enable cross-laboratory result comparisons. This reference material is adaptable to a wide variety of separation methods.

Preparative Chromatography Mix Standard [186006703]
The Preparative Chromatography Mix Standard is a specially formulated mix for the preparative or purification system. The Preparative Chromatography Mix Standard allows the user to evaluate and benchmark their chromatography prep or purification system with UV or MS before analysis of critical material. The Preparative Chromatography Standard includes a void marker, neutral, acidic and basic compounds. It can be used with a variety of column chemistries and dimensions, and system hardware.

Quad LCMS QC Reference Material [186007362]
The Quad LCMS QC Reference Material is designed for use with any chromatographic systems containing a Quad MS such as the SQD, TQD, Xevo TQ. It is intended to be used as a system benchmarking standard. When used consistently and control charted, the QCRM will provide: confidence in your results, reduce troubleshooting and re-run time, and enable cross lab result comparisons. It is adaptable to a wide variety of separation methods.

Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material [186006363]
The Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material is designed for use with any chromatographic systems containing a UV detector. It is intended to be used as a system benchmarking standard. The Reversed-Phase QC Reference Material is significantly more complex than the Neutrals QC Reference Material in that it contains a void marker, neutral, acidic and basic compounds which could be challenging to separate. It is designed to provide this complexity and is appropriate when complex assays are routinely performed. When used consistently and control charted, the QC Reference Material will provide - confidence in your results - reduce troubleshooting and re-run time - enable cross lab result comparisons It is adaptable to a wide variety of separation methods.

UPC2 QC Reference Material [186007950]
The UPC2 Quality Control Reference Material provides convergence chromatographic performance information for both chiral and achiral modes. It is designed for use with all ACQUITY UPC2 Columns (including Trefoil, Torus and Viridis) . This four compound mixture was optimized with the following key chromatographic performance (inclusive of mobile-phase pH) factors in mind:
- Compounds are well separated and cover a wide chromatographic elution range
- Contains a chiral compound to test chiral separation power (trans-stilbene oxide)
- Contains an ionizable compound, to test mass spectrometer performance (sulfamethoxazole 254 m/z)
- All four compounds are compatible with UV detection
